US, Iran in constructive discussions about 7-day plan to reopen Hormuz Strait: Reports

Washington, Sep 26 (Sputnik/UNI) Negotiations between the United States and Iran about Tehran’s proposal of a seven-day plan to reopen the Hormuz Strait are constructive, Reuters reported , citing a US official.
Iran has conveyed to the United States a seven-day plan providing for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday.
"Iran has conveyed to the United States, through Qatar, a concrete seven-day plan. If the necessary conditions are met, the strait can be reopened, and normal maritime passage restored within seven days. The choice now rests with the United States," Araghchi told reporters.
