Nominations invited for TMA-Adani Startup Award

Thiruvananthapuram, June 28 (UNI) Trivandrum Management Association (TMA) has invited applications for TMA-Adani Startup Award from socially relevant startups having fully developed products or services.
The TMA- Adani Startup Award is aimed at recognizing and honouring an entrepreneur or the founder of an organization who has developed a unique business model and made remarkable progress in the initial phase of the business.
The Adani group has come forward to support this vision by joining hands with TMA in instituting the award for the best startup in a socially relevant sector.
The award celebrates Kerala’s widely-acclaimed startup ecosystem that has emerged as a growth-engine which needs to be showcased, encouraged and supported.
Startups registered with the Department for Promotion of Industrial and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) can only apply for the award.
They must be of less than 5 years of existence from the date of incorporation and must have fully developed products or services and should have started earning revenue, instead of just having a prototype or concept.
The products or services should be developed for societal improvement and should be based on disruptive innovation, be globally scalable and capable of receiving seed funds from KSUM, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs) or angel investors.
The startup must have been recognized by the State or Central government or reputed organisations like TMA / KMA / NASSCOM /G-Tech or other industry bodies or have received awards or special financial grants.
The selection will be made by a jury consisting of eminent personalities. The nomination with details of the project, current status of the project, amount spent, latest audited annual accounts etc should be forwarded to the secretary [email protected]
The nomination form can be accessed from https://forms.gle/HoykLLqJcugi3bF58.
The last date for submission of nominations is 16th July 2025.
TMA has already invited applications from companies/corporates for the ‘TMA CSR Awards 2025’ that aim to honour global firms for their commendable CSR initiatives implemented by them.
Instituted in 2012, the CSR awards stems from the idea that large companies can do a lot more for society, beyond offering employment and providing products or services.
The awards carry a citation and a trophy and will be presented at TMA’s flagship annual management convention, TRIMA 2025, scheduled in July 2025.
An affiliate of All India Management Association (AIMA), TMA is one of India’s premier Management Associations led by company CEOs, decision makers and industry leaders, actively involved in promotion of Management development in the country, with particular focus on Kerala.
