Odisha: OKCL holds influencer connect programme on AI, digital skills

Bhubaneswar, Sep 20 (UNI) Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited (OKCL) on Sunday organised a one-day Influencer Connect programme to build participants’ understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), strengthen digital skills and promote collaboration among influencers and content creators.
Around 50 influencers participated in the programme, which featured AI capacity-building sessions, hands-on activities, case studies, networking and strategies for digital engagement.
Inaugurating the event, OKCL Managing Director Manoranjan Puthal said technology and digital platforms were increasingly enabling economic and social growth by improving access to information, strengthening skills, creating employment opportunities and supporting innovation.
The AI session focused on practical applications, ethical use and technical skills needed to integrate AI into everyday digital work. Participants also underwent hands-on training in website development.
OKCL also launched a 15-Day OKCL Creator Challenge, encouraging participants to apply their digital skills and use AI responsibly in content creation.
Content creator Anurag Mohanty said the programme provided practical insights into AI and digital tools, besides offering an opportunity for creators to exchange ideas and explore responsible and creative applications of AI.
OKCL said the initiative was aimed at strengthening its engagement with the creator community and promoting practical adoption of AI and digital technologies through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
