New Delhi, June 24 (UNI) Another batch of 292 Indian nationals evacuated from Iran arrived in New Delhi on a special flight early this morning as part of Operation Sindhu, taking to 2,295 the number of Indians evacuated from Iran so far.
Three more flights are expected to arrive later today.
The MEA spokesperson said in a post on X:

“292 Indian nationals were evacuated from Iran on a special flight that arrived in New Delhi from Mashhad at 0330 hrs on 24th June.
“2295 Indian nationals have now been brought home from Iran.”
Meanwhile, three more evacuation flights are expected to arrive later today, including two flights from Jordan, and another from Sharm-El-Sheikh, bringing back Indian nationals.
The airspace in the Middle East has been closed after Iran launched missiles towards US bases in Qatar.
