Petrol and diesel prices in Maharashtra see slight decrease

Mumbai, June 5 (UNI) Petrol and diesel prices remain a key concern for the common people in Maharashtra, as many try to estimate inflation based on fuel rates.

On June 5, 2025, new petrol and diesel prices were announced at 6 AM and communicated to citizens across the state. Today’s prices indicate a slight decrease in fuel costs in Maharashtra, offering some relief to consumers.

Before filling fuel, it is advisable to check the current rates in your city.

According to today’s data, petrol prices in Maharashtra cities range mostly above 104 per litre, while diesel prices are generally above 91 per litre.

In Ahmednagar, petrol is priced at 104.59 per litre and diesel at 91.12 per litre. Akola records petrol at 104.64 and diesel at 91.18 per litre. Amravati’s petrol price is 104.88 and diesel 91.41 per litre.

Aurangabad shows petrol at 104.53 and diesel at 91.05 per litre. Bhandara and Beed have petrol prices of 104.67 and 105.50, with diesel at 91.21 and 92.03 respectively.

Other cities such as Buldhana, Chandrapur, Dhule, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Hingoli, Jalgaon, Jalna, Kolhapur, Latur, Mumbai City, Nagpur, Nanded, Nandurbar, Nashik, Osmanabad, Palghar, Parbhani, Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sangli, Satara, Sindhudurg, Solapur, Thane, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal have petrol prices ranging from 103.50 in Mumbai to 105.97 in Nandurbar, and diesel prices from 90.03 in Mumbai to 99.43 in Palghar.

International crude oil price fluctuations and factors like VAT, transportation charges, and local taxes influence these rates. Today’s prices indicate a slight decrease in fuel costs in Maharashtra, offering some relief to consumers. Fuel prices are revised daily to reflect market conditions.
