Patna, May 22 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated two Railway stations-- Pirpainti and Rajmahal, under the Malda division of East Central Railway
developed under the Amrit Bharat Yojna.
PM inaugurated Pirpainti and Rajmahal stations through video conferencing from Bikaner. Under Amrit Bharat Yojna, 15 stations have been selected under
Malda division of East Central Railway(ECR).
While the two stations, Rajmahal and Pirpainti stations were developed
and inaugurated by Modi through virtual mode, works for rejuvenation and remodelling were going on at full speed at 13 other stations, including Jamalpur, Munger, Shivnarayanpur, Sabour, and New Farakka.
Pirpainti station in Bihar has been remodeled with an investment of Rs 18.93 crores. Civil, Electrical, and Signalling systems had been modernised, while facilities for passengers were also given a boost.
Beautification was also done at Pirpainti station. Similar works were also done at Rajmahal station in Jharkhand.
With the development of both stations under East Central Railway, passengers will get quality service.
