Bhopal, May 28 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhopal on May 31 to participate in a massive event on the occasion of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar's 300th birth anniversary.
The event will be unique as all the arrangements will be handled by women.
The government is gearing up for the event, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ensuring that the entire arrangement is led by women. A meeting was held at the party's state headquarters late Tuesday night, which was addressed by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, party state president and MP Vishnudatt Sharma, and state in-charge Mahendra Singh.
Yadav highlighted the contributions of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, who set numerous ideals and worked tirelessly for women's empowerment, good governance, and the renovation of temples across the country. He also praised PM Modi's efforts towards women's empowerment and said that on May 31, the Prime Minister will address over 2 lakh women at the event.
Party state president Sharma added that the event is expected to be historic, with around 2.5 lakh women participating. All the women will be given different responsibilities, and they will lead the entire arrangement.
