Priyanka assumes charge as Spl Commissioner of I&PR Dept

Hyderabad, June 16 (UNI) C H Priyanka officially took charge as the Special Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday.
Her appointment follows the state government's transfer orders, which relieved Dr Harish from the role and appointed him as Managing Director of Telangana Genco.
Prior to this, Priyanka served as the deputy secretary in the municipal administration and urban development department. Her new role as special commissioner marks a significant administrative transition within the I&PR Department.
Earlier in the day, at the Secretariat, Dr Harish assumed charge as special secretary of the government’s I&PR department and also as the managing director of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation.
Officials from the Information Department, Telangana Film Development Corporation, and Media Academy extended their congratulations to Priyanka upon her assumption of office. They also bid a formal farewell to Dr Harish.
After assuming responsibilities, Dr Harish conducted a review of ongoing programmes and the overall performance of the Information Department along with departmental officials.
