PURE plans to establish 300 Youth Hubs across Telangana by October-end

Hyderabad, Sept 16 (UNI) Global non-profit organisation PURE (People for Urban and Rural Education) plans to establish 300 Youth Hubs across Telangana by the end of October 2026 as part of its efforts to expand youth leadership and community-based initiatives in the State.
Founded in the United States by Indian-origin entrepreneurs Dr Shyla Talluri and Archana Purini, PURE has a presence in nine countries and has impacted more than one million lives through its programmes and community initiatives, according to the organisation.
PURE currently has more than 100 Youth Hubs across its global network, the company said in a release on Wednesday.
Its programmes focus on education, youth leadership, women and girls, AI and future readiness, and community and climate action.
The proposed Youth Hubs in Telangana will provide young people with platforms to learn, connect, develop leadership skills and undertake projects addressing local issues. Each hub will undertake three community projects, while members will have opportunities to participate in one national and one international project annually.
The initiative follows a “learning by doing” approach, with participants working directly with communities while gaining exposure to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The organisation said its youth programmes also focus on AI literacy, digital learning and responsible use of technology to prepare young people for changes in the future workplace.
PURE recently marked its 10th anniversary in Hyderabad, highlighting a decade of work in education, youth leadership and community empowerment.
“The Blueprint for Youth”, a book documenting youth activities, was also released during the celebrations.
PURE said it works with governments, educational institutions, companies, volunteers and communities to develop programmes based on local needs and promote youth participation in community development.
