Raghav Juyal’s energy reshaped his character in ‘The Paradise’

Mumbai, Sep 15 (UNI) Raghav Juyal’s casting in Nani-starrer "The Paradise" had an impact beyond simply filling the role, with director Srikanth Odela rewriting parts of the character after seeing the actor’s natural energy on screen.
Odela said he was impressed by Raghav's screen presence, forcing him to make changes to the character's writing.
The filmmaker explained that the search for the right actor for the role lasted approximately eight months. He was looking for someone lean, lithe, calm, stylish, and who could easily slip into the role, while also possessing a villainous demeanour. During this time, an assistant director showed him a photograph of Juyal and he immediately recognised him as the perfect fit for the role.
According to the director, his confidence in the 35-year-old actor was strengthened after his first meeting with him. He said that the "Kill" actor is extremely confident, and his energy and screen presence make him a perfect fit for the role. He was also easy to communicate with and work with.
Odela said that he initially wrote the character as relatively calm and composed, but after observing Juyal's natural energy, he reinvented the character accordingly. His presence in front of the camera is automatically impressive, and he wanted to make the most of this quality in the film.
"The Paradise" is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on September 24. UNI NST CDS
