Raghav Juyal was the ‘perfect’ choice for ‘The Paradise’: Nani

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) Nani had already formed a strong impression of Raghav Juyal’s acting before they shared the screen in "The Paradise", thanks to the actor’s performance in "Kill".
Nani said that he had really liked Raghav's performance in 'Kill' and had discussed the details of his performance with his friends and cousins for about an hour. He said that Juyal's contribution to the success of the film cannot be ignored.
The 42-year-old actor revealed that he had never mentioned his admiration for Juyal to director Srikanth Odela. So, when Srikanth, while narrating the story of "The Paradise," described him as "a villain to kill, perfect casting" for the antagonist, he was thrilled.
However, Nani was concerned about how Juyal's distinctive acting style would translate to Telugu. He believed that maintaining spontaneity and the finer nuances of acting could be challenging when working in a different language.
Nani said that his concerns were completely dispelled once shooting began. "The Ba***ds of Bollywood" didn't just memorise Telugu dialogues and deliver them, but constantly worked on his character and scenes, adding new layers to them." According to Nani, Juyal did even more with this role than he did in "Kill."
Directed by Srikanth Odela, "The Paradise" marks Juyal's debut in the Telugu film industry and will be seen in a unique role. The movieis scheduled to release on September 24, 2026.
