RCB captain Patidar & SRH skipper Cummins fined for slow-over rate

Lucknow, May 24 (UNI) Royal Challengers Bengaluru designated captain Rajat Patidar has been fined after his team maintained a slow over rate during Match No. 65 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana

As it was his team’s second offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Patidar was fined INR 24 lakhs. The rest of the members of the

Playing XI, including the Impact Player, were each individually fined either INR 6 lakh or 25 per

cent of their respective match fees, whichever is lesser.

Sunrisers Hdyerabad skipper Pat Cummins has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate.

As it was his team’s first offence of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which pertains to minimum over-rate offences, Cummins was fined INR 12 Lakh.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan lit up the Ekana Stadium with a dazzling unbeaten 94 off 48 balls as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) overpowered Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 42 runs in a

high-octane IPL 2025 clash here.
