SCR to operate 42 festival special train services from Charlapalli

Hyderabad, Sep 30 (UNI) To meet the additional passenger demand during the upcoming festival season, South Central Railway (SCR) will operate 42 special train services between Charlapalli and key destinations, including Hazrat Nizamuddin and Sasaram.
According to SCR release on Wednesday, the special trains will be operated between October and December 2026. The services include Charlapalli–Hazrat Nizamuddin–Charlapalli trains and Charlapalli–Sasaram–Charlapalli trains.
Train Nos. 07021/07022 between Charlapalli and Hazrat Nizamuddin will run seven services each way. Train Nos. 07023/07024 on the same route will operate six services each way. Train Nos. 07041/07042 between Charlapalli and Sasaram will operate eight services each way.
The 07021/07022 services will run from October 19 to December 2, while the 07023/07024 services will operate between October 20 and November 26. The 07041/07042 services will run from October 8 to November 27.
The Charlapalli–Hazrat Nizamuddin specials will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Bellampalli, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Dhaulpur, Agra Cantt, Mathura and Kosi Kalan in both directions. These trains will have 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
The other Charlapalli–Hazrat Nizamuddin services will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Bellampalli, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior and Agra Cantt, with 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
The Charlapalli–Sasaram specials will halt at Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Madan Mahal, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and Bhabua Road. These trains will comprise 1AC, 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
It said the special services are being introduced to clear the extra rush expected during the festival season.
