Senior Shiv Sena leader Kirtikar says he will take initiative for merger of both factions

Mumbai, June 20 (UNI) Senior Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) leader Gajanan Kirtikar said here today that he will talk to Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray to come together.

Kirtikar said: "I am confident that both will respect my age and experience."

"The party has suffered a great loss due to the split; two anniversaries are being celebrated. If all these strengths from two places come together, the strength of Shiv Sena will be greater in Maharashtra," he added.

"Even today I feel that both Shiv Senas should come together. I will definitely try for it," said Kirtikar who worked with the late Balasaheb Thackeray.
