Raipur, June 10 (UNI) Chhattisgarh has reported six new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of active cases in the state to 44.
Out of these active cases, 40 patients are undergoing treatment in home isolation.
According to official figures, a total of 50 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the state so far. After Raipur, Durg, and Bilaspur, Balod district has now been affected by the virus.
Raipur has the highest number of cases with 31 patients, followed by Bilaspur with 12, Durg with 5, and 1 case each in Balod and Bastar.
On Friday, 1,183 patients were tested, out of which 17 tested positive. Among them, 11 were from Raipur, 5 from Bilaspur, and 1 from Durg.
All the patients have mild symptoms, including low-grade fever, cold, cough, or sore throat.
