Himachal to press legal battle for BBMB power share, water dues from Haryana, Punjab

Shimla, June 28 (UNI) Accusing the Centre, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan of step-motherly treatment, Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has reiterated the state''s demand for 12 per cent free power royalty from the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) and stressed that all centrally-established power projects on state land should be transferred to the Himachal government after 40 years, as per state policy.
