Taking welfare schemes to the last person remains BJP's priority: Saraogi

Patna, Oct 31 (UNI) Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi today said taking the government's welfare schemes and achievements to the last person in society remained the organisation's foremost priority.
Addressing a meeting of state office-bearers focusing on the party's organisational activities, upcoming programmes and strategies to strengthen its structure from the state level down to the booth level, organised in the BJP state headquarters, Saraogi said the BJP's organisational strength rested on the hard work, dedication and commitment to public service demonstrated by its workers.
The national general secretary and Bihar organisational in-charge Harish Dwivedi was also present in the meeting during which Saraogi emphasised the need for active participation by office-bearers and workers at every level to strengthen the organisation and ensure effective coordination in carrying out its responsibilities.
The meeting also discussed ways to communicate the achievements of the government and the benefits of welfare schemes to people through the party organisation.
Emphasis was laid on holding regular meetings at the morcha, mandal and booth levels and making the organisational tours of office-bearers more effective.
Addressing the meeting, Dwivedi stressed the importance of regular field visits by organisational leaders and workers, saying such visits helped assess the actual condition of the organisation, establish direct communication with party workers and resolve grassroots-level problems.
It was decided that all state office-bearers would undertake organisational tours according to a prescribed action plan. During these visits, they would hold meetings at mandal and booth levels, interact with workers, review organisational programmes and prepare for upcoming activities.
Saraogi said all office-bearers would work with commitment to strengthen the organisation and ensure that the government's achievements reached every section of society.
The meeting also condoled the demise of former Rajya Sabha MP R K Sinha and paid tribute to his contributions.
