Telangana: Bullet found in passenger’s luggage at Hyderabad airport

Hyderabad, Oct 6 (UNI) A bullet was found during the security screening of a passenger who was scheduled to travel from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad, to the USA, causing a brief commotion at the airport today.
According to officials, the passenger was identified as Sai Manoj. A .22-calibre bullet was detected while his luggage was being checked as part of routine security procedures. Airport security personnel immediately alerted senior officials and seized the bullet.
The passenger was subsequently handed over to the GMR outpost police for further investigation.
Police are probing how the passenger came into possession of the bullet and the circumstances under which it was found in his luggage.
Further details are expected after completion of the police investigation.
