TGSRTC introduces Rs 600 weekly bus pass in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct 25 (UNI) The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has introduced a weekly bus pass priced at Rs 600 to provide an affordable and convenient travel option for commuters, tourists and business visitors travelling within the Greater Hyderabad region.
The pass is valid for seven consecutive days from the date of purchase and allows unlimited travel on all types of city buses, including AC buses. However, it is not valid on Pushpak Airport Liner services.
The new facility supplements the existing daily and monthly bus passes and is expected to benefit people who need to travel frequently within the city over a short period. Passengers can travel without purchasing individual tickets for each journey during the validity period.
The weekly passes are available at all city bus pass counters across Hyderabad.
In a statement on Sunday, TGSRTC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Y Nagi Reddy said the initiative was aimed at encouraging the use of public transport and providing commuters with affordable and convenient travel services. He urged people travelling within Hyderabad for a week to make use of the Rs 600 pass facility.
