TGSRTC MD VC Sajjanar inspects Adilabad Depot

Adilabad, May 19 (UNI) Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) Managing Director V C Sajjanar inspected the Adilabad depot and bus station on Monday and reviewed operational services, passenger amenities, and staff performance.

During the visit, Sajjanar interacted with drivers, conductors, and garage staff, specifically inquiring about the ground-level implementation of the state's free travel initiative for women under the "Mahalaxmi" scheme.

He also engaged with passengers at the bus station, distributing keychains embedded with QR codes linking to information about RTC services.

Commending the dedication of RTC employees, Sajjanar said, "The organisation's continued progress is driven by the commitment and hard work of its staff."

He added that TGSRTC has been acquiring new buses in alignment with increasing passenger demand, noting that 50 percent of the fleet has been upgraded in the past three years.

Highlighting plans, he stated that efforts are underway to ensure bus connectivity to every village and emphasised the importance of enhancing transport access to tourist destinations in the Adilabad region.

He also assured employees that their pending issues are being addressed in a phased manner, with support from the state government.
