Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) A local court here has convicted three Bangladeshi citizens for illegally staying in India and awarded three months’ imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 500 on each of them. Additionally, the court has ordered that the trio be deported from India after completion of their sentence period.
According to the police, on January 9, a Bangladeshi male was arrested from a hotel near the Western Express Highway in Malad East, while on March 7, two women were caught outside the gate of the Omkar SRA Building located in Kurar village, Malad East.
During interrogation, none of them were found in possession of valid documents.
The individuals have been identified as Shubham Sardar, Mehrun Sardar, and Alpna Sardar.
They were doing small jobs in the city.
