TPCC slams Kishan Reddy, BJP for questioning Rahul Gandhi’s patriotism

TPCC slams Kishan Reddy, BJP for questioning Rahul Gandhi’s patriotism

Hyderabad, May 21 (UNI)Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Spokesperson Satyam Srirangam launched a scathing attack on Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and the BJP, accusing them of lacking the moral authority to question Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s patriotism.

Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, here on Tuesday, Satyam said, “Kishan Reddy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi do not have the ethics to raise doubts about Rahul Gandhi’s love for the nation,” Satyam said.

He condemned what he described as offensive remarks made by the Union Minister against the Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi.

He further criticised BJP leaders for spreading objectionable posts on social media, particularly concerning Operation Sindoor, India’s strategic operation that has been the subject of national debate. “Even common citizens have questions about Operation Sindoor. Is it wrong to demand clarity?” Satyam asked.

Refuting the BJP’s allegations, he said, “Rahul Gandhi never said that emergency Parliament sessions should be held without informing the people. Rather, he is voicing the concerns of the public.”

Satyam also drew attention to what he termed the politicisation of Operation Sindoor by the BJP and asserted that “today, the people of the country are beginning to recognise the governance legacy of Indira Gandhi.”

He urged Kishan Reddy to issue an immediate apology for his remarks against Rahul Gandhi and condemned attempts to diminish the sacrifices made by the Gandhi family. “Your small political manoeuvres are nothing in front of their sacrifices,” he remarked.

Shifting focus to state politics, Satyam said, “Leaders like Harish Rao are talking like monks after giving false declarations. The Congress, in just 16 months, has implemented its promises and delivered benefits to the people of Telangana.”

He accused the previous BRS government of failing SC, ST, BC, and minority communities over the past decade. “They promised to resolve the issues of marginalised groups, but deceived them repeatedly. In contrast, our government has revived and empowered all the community commissions,” he added.
