TTD decides to prepare master plan for development of TTD-run six temples in AP

Tirumala, May 20 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board, the highest decision-making body of the world-famous Tirumala temple, in its meeting on Tuesday, decided to prepare a comprehensive master plan for the development of Tiruchanoor, Amaravati, Narayanavanam, Kapilatheertham, Nagalapuram and Vontimitta temples in Andhra Pradesh.
Briefing media after the board meeting along with TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao at Annamaiah Bhavan here, TTD Trust Board Chairman BR Naidu said it has been decided to receive technical and financial proposals from architects (Consultants) to prepare a comprehensive master plan for the development of temples.
All the rest houses in Tirumala have been renamed after the deities, except two, as the respective donors have not responded so far, he informed.
The TTD board has decided that the names of these rest houses will be changed by the TTD itself, while concerning the Sainik Niwas (Indian Army) rest house will be negotiated for name change, said Naidu.
It has been decided to give Big Canteens and Janatha Canteens in Tirumala to renowned institutions to provide quality food to the devotees and to formulate a plan to further enhance the spiritual, environmental, and infrastructure facilities in Akashaganga and Papavinasanam areas situated in Tirumala hills, the Chairman added.
The board decided to enhance Annaprasadam services to devotees in TTD-run Vontimitta temple ( Kadapa District), he said.
A decision has also taken to develop Sridevi and Bhudevi Sameta Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple situated on the hilltop in Anantavaram, Tullur mandal, Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) by allocating Rs. 10 crore, the Chairman added.
