Two injured in shooting near Florida university stadium, including six children

Tallahassee, Florida, Oct 25 (UNI) Twelve people, including six children, were injured in a shooting near a football stadium in Tallahassee on Saturday, police said, hours after a homecoming game at Florida A&M University.
Eleven of the victims suffered gunshot wounds, while the 12th, a grandmother of one of the victims, was injured while fleeing the scene, CNN quoted Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell as saying to reporters.
One victim was in critical condition, three sustained serious injuries and eight were in stable condition, police said. The youngest injured child was 11 years old.
No arrests had been made, Revell said, adding that the preliminary investigation indicated that a fight had broken out before the shooting.
The shooting occurred near Florida A&M's Bragg Memorial Stadium, following a homecoming football game in which the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions defeated the Florida A&M Rattlers 31-28. Police have not established whether the shooting was connected to the game.
The university said the incident occurred near its campus on Perry Street on Saturday evening and that police were investigating.
The campus remained safe, the university said, urging people to avoid the area to allow law enforcement officials to conduct their investigation.
The department's Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation, Revell said, adding that detectives are gathering evidence and working to identify those responsible.
"We're still working the scene," Revell told reporters, saying investigators and forensic personnel were processing evidence.UNI AAB
