Two Kochi-Riyadh flights cancelled amid security disruption in Riyadh

Kochi, Oct 8 (UNI) Two flights from Cochin International Airport (CIAL) to Riyadh were cancelled on Thursday following reports of security-related disruptions at King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital.
The cancelled flights are Akasa Air's QP523, which was scheduled to depart Kochi at 7.55 pm, and Saudia's SV775, scheduled to leave at 9.40 pm.
CIAL advised passengers booked on the two flights to contact the respective airlines' customer service centres for further information and alternative travel arrangements.
The airport authorities said passengers would be provided with updates by the airlines concerned.
