Two labourers killed in train accident in Chhattisgarh

Balod (Chhattisgarh), June 10 (UNI) Two labourers from Jharkhand, who had come to Dallirajhara, died after being hit by a train in Balod district of Chhattisgarh, while two others were injured.

Eleven labourers from Jharkhand were walking on the railway track from Dallirajhara to Kusumkasa. Due to fatigue, five of them sat down on the tracks and fell asleep. At around 4 am, a train hit four of the labourers, resulting in the instant death of two, while two others were injured.



The injured were rushed to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. Six other labourers who had walked ahead were narrowly saved from the accident.



The incident occurred in the Dallirajhara police station area, and the police have reached the scene to conduct an investigation.
