Two years after Haryana hat-trick, Badoli hails Saini, BJP organisation

Sonipat, Oct 8 (UNI) As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked the second anniversary of its historic third consecutive Assembly election victory in Haryana, senior party leader and Haryana Public Enterprises Bureau Chairman Mohan Lal Badoli on Thursday credited Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's leadership and the party's formidable grassroots organisation for consolidating public confidence in the ruling party.
Badoli personally greeted Saini at the Rai helipad in Sonipat, congratulating him on the milestone and asserting that close coordination between the government and the BJP organisation had become a major source of political and administrative strength in Haryana.
The occasion marked exactly two years since the declaration of the October 8, 2024, Assembly election results, which saw the BJP overcome anti-incumbency challenges to secure a third successive term in the state, an unprecedented electoral achievement for the party in Haryana.
Recalling the electoral verdict, Badoli said the people of Haryana had demonstrated their confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Saini and the BJP, reaffirming their faith in the party's leadership and development agenda.
He maintained that the election outcome reflected the effectiveness of coordination between the party organisation and the government, which had worked together to strengthen the BJP's connection with the electorate.
"The leadership of Nayab Singh Saini and the hard work of BJP workers have given fresh strength to both the government and the organisation in Haryana," Badoli said.
Emphasising that electoral success must translate into greater accountability, Badoli said the public mandate was not merely a political achievement but also a continuing responsibility for every BJP worker to deepen engagement with citizens and work with renewed dedication towards public service.
He said the confidence expressed by the electorate should inspire party workers to redouble their commitment to good governance, transparent administration and the uninterrupted development of Haryana.
Badoli asserted that the state government, under Saini's leadership and Modi's guidance, is pursuing its development agenda in the spirit of Antyodaya, with particular emphasis on the welfare of the poorest and most disadvantaged sections of society.
He said the government's objective is to ensure that development and welfare initiatives benefited every section of society, reflecting the administration's commitment to inclusive progress.
Highlighting the importance of organisational discipline and grassroots mobilisation, Badoli maintained that the collective efforts of the leadership and party workers had reinforced the BJP's position in Haryana.
He said sustained cooperation between the government and the party organisation would remain essential to translating the electoral mandate into effective governance and development.
Expressing confidence in Haryana's future, Badoli said continued public support, coupled with the dedication of BJP workers and the leadership of CM Saini, would enable the state to achieve new milestones in development.

Allahabad HC pulls up Noida Police over illegal detention

Prayagraj, Oct8 (UINI) The Allahabad High Court has come down heavily on the Uttar Pradesh Police over the alleged illegal detention of a youth in Gautam Buddha Nagar, terming the "detention unlawful and directing his immediate release."
During the hearing, the court expressed strong displeasure with the conduct of the Noida Police and observed, “You should be ashamed.”
The court further ruled that the condition of policing in the state was “very poor” and that some officers appeared to believe they could act with impunity.
