Una: Two youths die in road accident

Una (HP), Oct 21 (UNI) Two youths died following a road accident on the Amb-Una road in Una district of Himachal Pradesh late Tuesday night.
The incident took place around 10:45 PM near Krishna Nursery in Katauhar Khurd, where an HRTC bus collided with a motorcycle, leaving both individuals on the bike critically injured.
According to reports, the HRTC bus was traveling from Una toward Amb when it collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
Following the accident, both youths were taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Amb for treatment, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Yogesh Kumar and Aman Bhatia, both residents of Stothar village.
The news of the accident has sent a wave of shock through the region.
The police have registered a case against the bus driver, Bachittar Singh, on charges of driving at high speed and in a negligent manner.
An investigation into the causes of the accident is underway, said an official spokesman.
