UP: CM Yogi pays tribute to Harish Dwivedi's late mother

Basti, Oct 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Teliyajot village in Basti district on Sunday to pay tribute to Yashoda Devi, the late mother of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and former MP Harish Dwivedi, and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
Yashoda Devi passed away recently. She had been unwell for some time. The Chief Minister's helicopter landed at the helipad constructed in Kudi village, under the Nagar police station area, at around 11:15 am on Sunday.
The Chief Minister then reached Teliyajot village by road and visited Harish Dwivedi's residence. Yogi Adityanath paid floral tribute to the late Yashoda Devi's portrait. He met with Harish Dwivedi and his family members and consoled them.
The Chief Minister said that the death of a mother is extremely painful for the family. He prayed to Lord Shri Ram to give the bereaved family the strength to bear the grief in this difficult time.
During the Chief Minister's visit, BJP Gorakhpur Region President Vinod Rai, BJP District President Vivekanand Mishra, Harraiya MLA Ajay Singh, along with other party officials and public representatives were present.
All paid tribute by offering flowers on the portrait of late Yashoda Devi and expressed condolences to the bereaved family. In view of the Chief Minister's program, extensive security arrangements were made by the administration.
