Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi to organise protest on Oct 28 demanding Gyanesh Kumar’s removal

Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi founder president Prakash Ambedkar has announced that his party will organise a protest here on Wednesday, October 28, to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.
Speaking to media persons here, the VBA chief, who is also a senior Supreme Court lawyer and the grandson of Dr B R Ambedkar, said, “Why is the Congress not staging any sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar until Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar is removed from his post?
"The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi will hold a big protest in Mumbai on October 28 to demand the removal of Gyanesh Kumar. This fight must be taken to its logical conclusion and it cannot be left half way”.
Prakash Ambedkar stated that both the Congress and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are two sides of the same coin.
“Both these organisations wish to maintain the caste system. Both want to maintain a distinction between Shudras and Atishudras. We see a situation where one crore votes will be deducted every year in the state. The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) will take the path of agitation and hold a protest on October 28”.
Prakash Ambedkar said that voluntarily donating or helping people is against the ideology of the RSS and the BJP, especially when it comes to helping oppressed castes who form the bulk of the working class.
“If farmers do not get any compensation for their crop losses by Diwali, they must simply surround the residences of the respective BJP district president, taluka BJP president, local BJP MLA, BJP MP and other BJP leaders. Surround the houses of these BJP leaders and demand food as well as water.
"If starving people loot the wealth of BJP leaders after revealing the worth of their assets, don’t blame me, because the drought crisis is really bad,” Prakash Ambedkar said.
Prakash Ambedkar said that BJP leaders, MLAs, MPs and office bearers have a lot of money in their accounts.
“What is the use of money if even drinking water is not available? The government must take care that the drought situation does not get out of control. Just like the government spends hundreds of crores to organise the Kumbh Mela in Nashik, it should hold meetings with drought affected farmers in Maharashtra and announce help. Don’t tell us that there is no money in the treasury only when it comes to helping drought-hit farmers,” Prakash Ambedkar said.
