VHP flays Samajwadi MLA’s controversial remarks on Mumbai Train Incident

Mumbai, June 10 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal on Tuesday strongly criticised Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi for his recent remarks regarding the tragic overcrowding incident on a Mumbai suburban train near Mumbra.
Azmi, representing Mankhurd-Shivaji Nagar, questioned why animal rights activists do not protest the harsh conditions faced by commuters on Mumbai’s trains, in response to the deaths caused by overcrowding on Monday.
Azmi stated that he intends to urge Samajwadi Party MPs to champion the cause of Mumbai’s train passengers. He pointedly asked why Bajrang Dal activists, who often block vehicles transporting animals citing cruelty, do not similarly protest the inhumane conditions endured by train travelers.
