Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan offers prayers at Tirumala temple

Tirumala, Oct 26 (UNI) Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy at the Tirumala temple on Monday evening.
Upon his arrival at the temple, he was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials. After darshan, the temple priests blessed him, and TTD officials presented him with Teertha Prasadams at Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple.
Earlier, the Vice-President was welcomed at the Sri Padmavathi Rest House by TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra, Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, CVSO Muralikrishna and SP Subbarayudu. State Minister Anagani Satya Prasad, local legislators A Srinivasulu and Pulivarthi Nani, and TTD Board member Ramamurthy were also present.
According to official sources, the Vice-President will leave Tirumala at 0630 hrs on Tuesday after an overnight stay. He is expected to offer prayers at the Sri Padmavathi temple before proceeding to Renigunta Airport to board a special flight to New Delhi.
