WB: Divers recover bodies of two students; search on for third in Bankura dist

Kolkata, June 25 (UNI) The West Bengal State Disaster Management and Civil Defence Department today recovered two bodies and is searching for the third missing teenager in the swelling Dwarakeswar River in West Bengal's Bishnupur area of Bankura district.
Nearly 8 hours of search operation for three drowning students, official sources said.
They said while the bodies of 9th standard students Parameswar Mishra and Arkadeep Das were fished out from the water body this morning, the search operation continued to look for the third missing student, Sayan Chatterjee, who altogether were swept away by the waves tomorrow afternoon.
The trio, the 9th standard students of Bishnupur High School, after school hours, went to the banks of the river and were involved in selfies. Suddenly the three schoolmates slipped into the river and were swept away, eyewitnesses told the investigating police officers.
Bishnupur block development officer Som Shankar Mondol today said after a futile search operation yesterday evening, the divers of the state disaster management fished out the two bodies and were looking for the 3rd missing student.
