We’ve to stay focused: Anwar Ali

Kolkata, Oct 2 (UNI) Indian coach Khalid Jamil on Friday said that while Brazil was one of the best sides in world soccer, his charges would give their “100 per cent” on the Yuva Bharati Krirangan turf on Saturday.
“They are the best team. They are known as the best of the best,” Jamil said at the match-eve press conference at a posh hotel here.
Jamil, under whom the national side would play their 14th match on the morrow, said Brazil were strong both in attack and defence.
He appealed to football fans of Kolkata to stand behind the national team.
“We just have to give our 100 per cent to whoever is watching. We just have to give our best. Please support the team,” he said.
Jamil also praised his side. “We know that we've got great players. We've got strong forwards.”
Defender Anwar Ali stressed the need to stay composed and focused.
“We played well in our last game. We have a very big game tomorrow. We need to stay focused,” he said, referring to India’s 1-1 draw with Panama in Bengaluru last month.
“Everyone knows how Brazil play. So, we just have to keep calm on the field. And deal with the pressure.”
