Yemen conflict disrupts education for more than 137,000 children: UNICEF

Geneva, Sept 15 (UNI) More than 137,000 school-aged children in Yemen are facing major disruptions to their education as renewed fighting forces families from their homes, the United Nations children's agency UNICEF said on Monday.
UNICEF said its response teams were establishing 20 child-friendly spaces and temporary classrooms and providing protection services for children affected by the conflict."Children shouldn't lose their future to conflict," the agency said.
Renewed fighting has displaced families in western Taiz province and districts along Yemen's western coast, UNICEF said on Friday.
