Youth killed in car-bike collision in MP’s Umaria

Umaria, June 9 (UNI) A youth died on the spot after his motorcycle was hit by a car in Umaria district in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, police said on Monday.

Police sources said the incident occurred near Kamla Nursing Home on the national highway near Birsinghpur Pali police station area, where a car collided with a motorcycle driven by Pooranlal Baiga (30) from Badgaon. The collision resulted in Pooranlal's instant death.
The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination at the Community Health Centre.

The car driver fled the scene and efforts are being made to apprehend him.
The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem examination on Monday.
The police have seized the car and initiated an investigation into the incident.
