YSRCP Doctors’ wing demands inquiry into injustice to BC, SC & ST Students in MBBS Admissions

Vijayawada, Oct 21 (UNI) Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, Chairman of YSRCP NTR District Doctors’ Wing, has alleged that the software-based counselling process adopted from the second round of MBBS admissions in Andhra Pradesh is flawed as it is causing injustice to eligible BC, SC and ST students by denying them fair opportunities under the open competition category.
In a statement on Wednesday, Dr. Yadav demanded that the state government immediately order a time-bound, independent high-level inquiry into the counselling software and seat-allocation process of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.
He called for an urgent audit of round-wise allotment data, candidate preferences and software rules to determine whether applicable admission guidelines and G.O. Ms. Nos. 550 and 102 have been violated.
“There must be no delay in investigating this serious issue. The government must preserve all relevant counselling records, publish the inquiry findings, rectify any proven irregularities and provide appropriate relief to eligible students who have been adversely affected. If violations or deliberate manipulation are established, strict action must be initiated against those responsible in accordance with the law,” he asserted.
“Every day of delay risks further injustice to deserving students. The government must act immediately, fix accountability and ensure that no eligible BC, SC or ST student loses a rightful opportunity because of flaws in the counselling system,” Dr. Yadav demanded.
