Yuva Morcha stages black-flag protest against Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 30 (UNI) Yuva Morcha activists staged a black-flag protest against Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan here on Wednesday, alleging that the recent protest against union Home Minister Amit Shah in Kerala was a "government-sponsored attack".
The protest was led by Yuva Morcha Thiruvananthapuram North district president Surya Krishnan.
Yuva Morcha alleged that the police, who were responsible for providing security to the union Home Minister, remained spectators during the incident and said the organisation would continue its statewide protests against what it termed "politics of violence".
The organisation also said it would continue to raise its voice against political violence through street protests.
Police arrested several Yuva Morcha office-bearers, including district president Vishnu, vice-president Peter Solomon and Manish, in connection with the protest.

The BJP has announced a protest meeting at Neyyattinkara bus stand junction at 1730 hours on Wednesday in protest against the alleged attack on its district president. Krishnadas and Adv S Suresh addressed the meeting.
The Mahila Morcha Thiruvananthapuram district committee has also announced a protest in front of the Secretariat against the alleged attacks on BJP leaders and workers.
