‘The Mushrooms’ revisits the romance of 1980s Hindi cinema with retro track

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) Director Srija Barua Nalawade’s upcoming film "The Mushrooms" has unveiled a new Hindi retro track, 'Kaisi Hai Yeh Shaam Aaj Ki', drawing on the romance and musical style of 1980s Bollywood.
The song features Anushka Kaushik and Abhijeet Nalawade sharing the screen for the first time. It is sung by Tarannum Malik Jain and composed by Paresh Shah.
Inspired by classic Hindi cinema, the song brings together the romance, glamour and nostalgia of yesteryear with a modern cinematic twist.
Shrija said that she has always been attracted to the simplicity and emotional beauty of old Hindi cinema and has tried to convey the same feeling to today's audience through this song.
Mounted by Shreeja Barua Nalawade and Abhijit Nalawade. The film is presented by Lasaki Mediaworks. The two have also written the story and screenplay together. UNI NST SAS
