Ayush Ministry to unveil sector report, safety dossiers Ayurveda Day

New Delhi, Sep 22 (UNI) The Ministry of Ayush will mark the 11th Ayurveda Day in Nagpur on Wednesday with the release of a report assessing the country’s Ayush services sector, along with safety dossiers, treatment guidelines and other research-focused initiatives.
The national programme will see the launch of the first-ever “Report on the Ayush Services Sector”, prepared by the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), said officials from the Ministry today. The report is expected to provide an assessment of the services sector and its development.
The ministry will also release safety dossiers on Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) and Chandrasura (Lepidium sativum), besides Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) for skin disorders.
Other launches include the “From Traditional Wisdom to Global Leadership: Ayush Vision 2030” report, a status report on Ayush-related inventions in India and the CCRAS–AGNI Assessment Scale Web Portal.
The event will be held under the theme “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow” and will bring together officials from the Ministry of Ayush, representatives of its councils and institutions, practitioners and other stakeholders.
Two scientific sessions have also been scheduled. The first, “Shashwatam to Vishwas - Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow and the Road to 2047”, will focus on Ayurveda’s future trajectory, while the second, “Integrating Therapies is needed to reduce NCD Burden by 2027”, will discuss the role of integrated therapies in addressing non-communicable diseases.
Ayurveda Day will also be observed across India and internationally, with institutions and practitioners participating in programmes linked to the annual observance.
