Haryana: Two more held for abducting, assaulting Panipat youth over money dispute

Panipat, Oct 8 (UNI) Panipat Police have arrested two more men for allegedly abducting and assaulting a youth over a financial dispute, taking the total number of arrests to four, and recovered three cars linked to the crime, officials said today.
The accused, identified as Vishal and Prince of Nain village, were arrested by the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA-3). Police recovered an SUV allegedly used in the abduction and a car snatched from the victim.
CIA-3 in-charge Sub-Inspector Subhash said the accused allegedly conspired with Bunty and Anuj of Bhaupur village, who were arrested earlier, to abduct Pritam, a resident of Siwah village, following a dispute over money. "During interrogation, the accused disclosed that Bunty had a financial dispute with Pritam, who was allegedly avoiding repayment despite repeated demands," Subhash said, according to the police statement.
The incident occurred on September 28 when Pritam drove his grandmother to a clinic in Biholi village. After dropping her at the clinic, he returned to his car, where the accused allegedly assaulted him before forcibly taking him away along with his vehicle. According to a complaint lodged by his grandfather Satpal, witnesses saw two cars, a Baleno and a Fronx, fleeing towards Shehrmalpur after the incident.
A case was registered at Bapoli police station under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police had earlier recovered the Baleno allegedly used in the crime from Bunty and Anuj, who were subsequently sent to judicial custody. Vishal and Prince were produced before a court on Thursday and sent them to judicial custody.
Police have not disclosed the amount involved in the financial dispute or the victim's present condition. UNI KKSS
