The Delhi BJP chief said that Das and Ranka, along with Abhijit Dipke, had appeared before a Magistrate’s Court just four days ago and furnished a bond stating that they would not engage in any illegal activity for one year.
However, on Tuesday, after Jantar Mantar was de- notified from being a protest venue, these two CJP leaders reached the site, along with another associate, that too allegedly trespassing through a private place.
The BJP leader further said that Delhi Police produced all three of them before the Magistrate’s Court, where Das and Ranka were sent to judicial custody, as they had violated the conditions of their previous bond, while their associate Shinde was released after furnishing a bond.
The Delhi BJP president also hit- out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying that his petty politics over the entire matter is something extremely shameful.
Rahul Gandhi’s act of portraying the law-breaking by anarchic youth as a fight for the Tricolour is shameful, and the country will never forgive him for this, Malhotra added.

He further said that now team Kejriwal has started its dramatic game of issuing statements regarding these youth.
He alleged that be it Saurav Das, or Ranka, they were led astray by Kejriwal and other AAP leaders, who had given them false assurances, that they could do whatever they want, and that the Police would not take any strict action. UNI APS CDS
