Special rights & certificate drive for denotified & nomadic tribes across Maharashtra from Sep 27

Nashik, Sep 20 (UNI) A special “Nomadic and Denotified Tribes Rights and Certificate Campaign” will be conducted across Maharashtra from September 27 to 29, to provide members of Denotified Tribes (VJ) and Nomadic Tribes (NT) direct access to government welfare schemes and essential certificates.
The campaign, initiated by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule under the government’s “Rashtraneta Te Rashtrapita” campaign, will be organised through settlement-wise camps at the circle and taluka levels.
The three-day drive will provide 11 types of certificates and benefits under five government schemes under one roof. The campaign is being jointly implemented by the Revenue Department and the Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department following directions from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
During the camps, beneficiaries will be provided certificates and documents including Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, Residence Certificate, Ayushman Bharat Card, Marriage Registration and Disability Certificate, among others.
Beneficiaries will also receive benefits under the Shravanbal Seva State Pension Scheme, Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana, Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and PM-KISAN.
The administration has been directed to prepare settlement-wise beneficiary lists in advance and ensure that all required documents are completed before the camps.
After the special three-day campaign, similar camps will be organised on the first Tuesday of every quarter on a regular basis.
The state government will also felicitate district, taluka and municipal administrations that demonstrate outstanding performance during the campaign. UNI BHG SS
