Vidya Balan’s striking Kanta avatar unveiled in ‘Jailer 2’ glimpse

Chennai, Sep 20 (UNI) Vidya Balan’s character in "Jailer 2 has finally been introduced, with the makers unveiling a glimpse of the actress as Kanta.
This new avatar of Balan, draped in a blue sari and holding a cigarette, is creating buzz.
Backed by Anirudh Ravichander’s score, the sequence focuses on her measured movements and self-assured manner, with the character’s presence conveyed through her expressions and body language rather than dialogue.
Rajinikanth will once again be seen in the role of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in "Jailer 2," directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan and Yogi Babu, along with Suraj Venjaramoodu and S.J. Suryah in pivotal roles.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 15, 2026.
