Agartala, Apr 1 (UNI) Rotary club in Agartala has launched 'Rotary Anna Yojana' in collaboration with the Patients' Welfare of Agartala Govt Medical College and GBP hospitals to provide an affordable meal to the patient parties.

Under the scheme, relatives of patients can avail a full meal at Rs 10, which will include unlimited rice, dal, vegetables, egg, and traditional dry fish (Sidol chutney) ensuring a nutritious and tasty lunch for the family members of the patients admitted in the hospital.

Launching the scheme, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said that it would significantly help the patient families especially the underprivileged sections. He lauded the collaboration and expressed hope that this initiative would serve as a model for other healthcare institutions in the country.
