Bengal govt to publish eligible teachers' list after obtaining legal opinion

Kolkata, Apr 11 (UNI) After a nearly three-hour marathon meeting on Friday, West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu, along with School Service Commission (SSC) Chairman Siddhartha Majumdar, said that the list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the website after legal consultation.
“There is no fundamental difference between the state government and the teachers who have lost their jobs. We are sympathetic towards them but we will have to do everything within the legal framework.
"The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the website within the next two weeks following legal consultation. The ‘mirror image’ also exists, but legal advice will be required for that as well,” Basu said after meeting the representatives of the jobless teachers.
