Bhargavastra will further strengthen India’s Air Defence system: Pradhan

Bhubaneswar, May 15 (UNI) Bhargavastra, the newly developed indigenous low-cost counter-drone system, will further modernize and bolster India’s air defence capabilities, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated on Thursday.
Speaking to the media in Bhubaneswar, Pradhan said Odisha is proud to witness the successful testing of Bhargavastra at the Seaward Firing Range in Gopalpur, located in the state.
The Minister also lauded the success of Operation Sindoor, an anti-terrorist initiative of the Indian government, calling it a shining testament to the valor, courage, and strength of India’s armed forces.
Pradhan extended his congratulations to the three wings of the armed forces on behalf of the people of Odisha for their decisive victory against terrorism and expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership.
He highlighted that the Indian Air Force entered Pakistani airspace to eliminate terrorist hideouts, successfully destroying nine targets in the operation.
“The entire world has seen the power of our military, the resolve of Indian society, and the strong leadership of Prime Minister Modi,” he stated.
The Union Minister called upon citizens to organize a Tricolor Yatra to honor and boost the morale of the armed forces and to show support for Operation Sindoor.
“For the first time since independence, Pakistan's missile threat has been neutralized by the superior strength of India’s defence capabilities,” Pradhan added.
