Bihar: Amit Shah exhorts people to ensure NDA govt retains power

Patna, Mar 30 (UNI): Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah on Sunday exhorted people to ensure the NDA retained power in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections to accelerate development with the active support of the Narendra Modi government.
Addressing a function organised by the Cooperative department for launching a series of schemes funded by the Central and state governments, Shah said the Modi government and NitishKumar-led NDA regime have transformed Bihar which was in a poor shape during the rule of the RJD before 2005.
"The era before 2005 ruled by RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his wife Rabri Devi, would always be remembered in history as 'jungle raj ' in Bihar", he said.
