BJP leaders would visit Bihar for political tourism in the election year: Tejaswi

Patna, Mar 30 (UNI) Leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav said that the BJP leaders would visit Bihar for political tourism in the election year and would make tall promises.
Yadav said here on Sunday that the leaders would also make false claims during their visit but would never disclose the amount given to Gujarat and Bihar during the past 11 years for development.
Yadav asked the BJP leaders to make a comparative study of the developmental fund released to Gujarat and Bihar during the past 11 years and said that they should also reveal the steps taken to check migration from Bihar and the initiatives for providing jobs and employment opportunities to the youth of this state.
He said they should also disclose the number of sugar mills that became functional during the 20 years of NDA's rule. Speaking about the flood menace, he asked the NDA government to apprise the people of the initiative taken by it to save the people from floods. He said that according to Niti Aayog, Bihar was still a failed state.
Meanwhile, reacting to the speech of Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered during the day, RJD spokesperson Chitranjan Gagan said that Shah should apprise the reason for NDA government's failure to revive the sugar mills of Bihar.
He said that the BJP leaders remember the issue of closed sugar mills only during the election year.
