Bravery in the line of duty: PSO Sanjeev Kumar recommended for Gallantry Medal

Shimla, Mar 26 (UNI) Constable Sanjeev Kumar, who took multiple bullets on his body while saving the life of a former legislator during a murderous attack, has been recommended for the prestigious Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG)—an honor awarded by the Government of India for exceptional courage in protecting lives.
In a press statement issued on March 26, the Himachal Pradesh Police Headquarters announced that Kumar's name was being recommended for the award to the Union Home Ministry, acknowledging his dedication and sacrifice.
Furthermore, the IPS Association has contributed Rs 25,000 towards his immediate medical expenses,
